Located on grounds designed by the Swiss landscape architect Dieter Kienast, the 7 hectares of gardens hosts a sculpture park of over 60 works from mainly Austrian Artists from different generations.

The museum’s 3,000 metre-squared sculpture garden hosts a significant collection of sculpture by Alberto Giacometti, Henry Moore, and other international artists.

The museum is open from 10am till 6pm daily. Admission is charged.

An ancient Roman quarry in the town of St. Margarethen is home to a vast collection of over 100 stone sculptures, amassed during the European Sculpture Symposia, which celebrated 50 years in October 2009. Founded by artist Karl Prantl in 1959 this symposium is considered to be the first of its kind throughout the world.

The Skulpturenpark Artpark in the city of Linz, Austria, has hosted over 20 works since its opening in 2006, including sculpture by Jonathan Borofsky, dEmo (Eladio de Mora), Manfred Kielnhofer, Robert Mittringer, Arnold Pichler, Erwin Reiter, Martina Schettina, Manfred Schöller, Pinuccio Sciola and Gerhard Wünsche. New works are added to the display annually. Situated in the 'Lenaupark' quarter on the roof of the Lenaupark City shopping-center, this unusual sculpture park is the only cultural institution of this part of the city. Local artist Manfred Kielnhofer founded the Artpark.

The Artpark is open to the public from April to October annually, free of charge.

Not for from Carinthia alps is a two mile long sculpture park that follows the Drau River. Beautiful site specific large scale outdoor land art and sculpture dots the banks of the river. The work is by both Austrian and international artists, including Mo Edoda, Edmund & Thomas Hoke, Patrick Dougherty, and Johann Feilacher.
