Congratulations to CIMR member Professor Muthu De Silva for being appointed as Head of Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange for the new Faculty of Business and Law, starting on August 1.
Her four priorities are: creating a collegiate and supportive environment; helping personal development, reward and recognition; supporting responsible research, innovation, knowledge exchange, impact and open research and designing conducive processes and structures. Of particular relevance to CIMR, research centres will play a key role in all these four areas and the first objective in particular.
We wish Muthu all the best with her new appointment.
