Birkbeck PhD student Doyin explains how direct selling gave her the skills she needed to start her own business, and how her research asks if it could do the same for others. Being part of the Centre for Innovation Management Research has been a key part of Doyin’s PhD experience, from building networks to developing research ideas.

Academic Staff are the core members of the Centre. They are responsible for the advancement of one or more specific research themes within the centre. They publish cutting edge articles in the world’s leading journals and work closely with stakeholders.

PhD Students are an important element in the Centre’s research activities. This usually means that they are supervised by at least one of the Centre’s academic staff.

Visiting Fellows are special assets for the Centre. They interact closely with the Centre’s Academic Staff and PhD students.

Alumni are past students. This section includes what they have gone on to do.
