TRIGGER is coordinated and co-funded by the Italian Government (Dipartimento per i Diritti e le Pari Opportunità), is assisted by an institute specialised in gender and science (ASDO), and involves five universities from different EU countries (Czech Republic, France, Italy, UK, Spain).

TRIGGER at Birkbeck is led by a team from the Department of Management, School of Business, Economics and Informatics, supported by a board including key people from different departments and from Human Resources.

An external board provides additional advice and helps to reflect on the progress of the project.
