Alastair Ball is Lecturer in Economics in Birkbeck’s Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics. His research explores the costs and benefits of polluting economic activity, including the long-term health and labour market costs of early exposure to pollution and the effects of low-levels of pollution on productivity and labour market participation.
