The following 16 documents are a Memo relating to interview with 'Putzi' Hanfstaengl (11-12 Nov, 1943). 'Putzi' Hanfstaengl was part of Hitler's social circle and was later to be an important OSS informant. this interview contains material, presumably from Pope, about interview with 'Putzi'. The document also contains references to Hitler and an occasion in which 'Putzi' saw him in a state of 'destructive madness'.

These documents contains pages from ''Putzi's' testimony. ('Putzi' is called 'Dr Sedgwick' here). Report is dated Dec. 1942. They contain ''Putzi's' on Hitler's 'incestuous' family, appearance, writing, reading, physique, strength, health, voice, sleeping habits, reactions, diet, identifications (Cromwell, Napoleon, Frederick etc.) and his visits to vaudeville and circuses (although rarely to theater). One point of focus is Hitler's father, Alois and his violence towards his children and his dog.

The following documents contain material on Hitler's conversations [1932-35] 1. As reported by Dr Hermann Rauschning, selected by Dr James Davis, June 1940, and sent to Roosevelt. These cover attitudes to war, nation, the Jews, etc. Many comments here in which Hitler insists on a purely biological approach to nation building. He acknowledges that 'we want to be barbarians' i.e. no sentimentality or dallying with human feelings.
