Research Interests

My main research interest is in educational neuroscience. I hold a BA in Special Education from Anadolu University and a Master’s in Special and Inclusive Education from UCL IOE, Faculty of Education and Society. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in the Psychology and Human Development Department at UCL IOE, where I also contribute as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant. Additionally, I work as a Senior Researcher at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

My passion and commitment to the field of educational neuroscience emerged during my early career as a Special Education Teacher in Turkey. In this role, I had the privilege of working closely with deaf and autistic students, which provided me with invaluable insights into the diverse learning needs within our education system.
