My research interests centre around the unification of quantum theory with Einstein's theory of relativity. This satisfies my broader interest concerning the nature of the physical world. At the moment I an concentrating on the Bohm interpretation of quantum theory, extending his idea's into the relativistic domain via the Dirac equation.
I also enjoy mathematics for is own sake and especially the wider philosophical issues where physics and mathematics interact. For example, "Does mathematics give us a uniqueness criterion for three dimensional space?"
Current Program

Derive the quantum potential for the Dirac equation.
Explore animated sequences of a Gaussian wave packet interacting with a potential barrier, comparing the Schrödinger and Dirac solutions.
Investigate the uniqueness of eight dimensional space and the possible implications for physical theories.
Exploring the connection of quantum non-locality and relativity.
