Dr Peter Ross

Peter Ross is an associate lecturer and researcher within the Department of Management at Birkbeck, University London. He teaches Microeconomics for Management and Organisation Studies. He is visiting lecturer at the South Western University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China. His research is currently focused on developing models to measure the influence of innovation on performance and quality at a national and organizational level. The context for his research is often healthcare related which requires him to work collaboratively with both private and public sector organisations. Peter is research methodology advisor to NHS England and a reviewer for the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine. His research has been cited in joint guidance documents of the Royal College of Radiologists and Royal College of Physicians and has been featured in the Westminster Health Forum. Currently, Peter is working with NHS England to design and develop national core patient experience survey questions. Peter regularly presents his findings at national and international meetings and has published on worker engagement and performance, blame culture and innovation adoption.
