A poet, essayist and translator, Edgardo Dobry teaches at the University of Barcelona. He has published several books and articles, including Tarde de cristal (1992), Cinética (1999), El lago de los botes (2005) and Cosas (2008). He has translated Giorgio Agamben, Roberto Calasso and Sandro Penna, among others. Currently he contributes to ‘Babelia’, the literary supplement of El País, with essays on Latin American poetry and literature.
