Whilst we prepare our programme for the year ahead, we are pleased to announce this upcoming guest talk by architect and urban designer Aristotelis Dimitrakopoulos

When: Friday 3rd December at 6pm

Where: Keynes Library, Birkbeck School of Arts, 43 Gordon Square, WC1H 0PD

The ceaselessly shifting conceptual and theoretical frameworks of architecture may be reiterated as inter-subjective records of an incessant confrontation with the autobiographic. Aristotelis’ research attempts to unveil these psychogeographical frontiers and, possibly, to schematise a scaled series of nascent manifestos for self-analytical architectures of autobiography, spanning from the domestic realm to urban enclaves, then expanding to virtual collectivities and mass phenomena.

Associate Professor (University of Ioannina) Aristotelis Dimitrakopoulos is an architect and urban designer (N.T.U. Athens 1998, Yale 2000), educator, design consultant, writer, critic and researcher with a multifaceted professional and academic experience in multiple countries and regions.
